Synopsis

A poignant rites of passage drama set in the predominantly Hispanic Echo Park of L.A. follows the trials and tribulations of Magdalena; a precocious soon to be fifteen-year-old who discovers she is pregnant. Cast out of the family home, Magdalena moves into the home of a couple of previously cast-out family members, leading her on a journey into self-discovery.
